"Life is so comfortable and wonderful!" This sentence perfectly captures the essence of Chengdu people: they have both a leisurely philosophy of life and an open - minded attitude towards life.

This time, China Merchants · Jinchengxu follows the natural vein of 30°N latitude and completely brings the mysterious land of western Sichuan into the urban community: the valleys of Songpinggou, the waterfalls of Munigou, the streams of Mengtun River Valley, the moss of Jiaermengcuo... An approximately 3,000㎡ boundless garden unfolds here, carving out a wild and luxurious space for the bustling city and vividly presenting the free and easy charm of Sichuan.

01 Do not listen to the sound of the rain hitting the leaves in the forest. Why not chant and stroll slowly?

We incorporate this sense of detachment and ease into every design detail. The signage system pursues "simple yet extraordinary", with a greater emphasis on the delicate expression of a sense of quality: The LOGO has an aged copper plate as its base, inlaid with translucent marble. Under different lighting and weather conditions, the marble will present rich visual variations. Its unique texture is like the distant mountains and clouds in western Sichuan, forming a subtle dialogue with the surrounding forest environment. The signage font follows the concept of "refined humanistic aesthetics" of the "Order" series, abandoning redundant decorations and complicated craftsmanship, and forming a unified language with the architectural lines and colors.

02 In the Twenty-four Cities, hibiscus flowers bloom. Jinguan has been known for its prosperity since ancient times.

Shu region not only has the wild luxury and secluded wonders in the mountains and forests, but also the romantic and elegant charm of hibiscus flowers blooming all over the city. Therefore, we combined the logo layout with the core element of the LOGO, the "hibiscus flower": using the flower as an ornament of the environment, with petals crisscrossing, either stretching out from between the stone slabs or blooming along the texture of the curtain wall. It blooms at every inadvertent glance, adding a touch of delicacy and elegance to the space.

03The brook roars in the silent forest with no one crossing. The four seasons on one mountain are each different.

The boundless garden has a mysterious and ever - changing natural environment, and its artistic conception is inherently quiet and secluded. During the design process, we adhered to the original intention of "non - interference", allowing the signs to "grow" quietly and naturally in the environment, integrating with the streams, plants, trees, rocks. In spring, blooming flowers reflect the words on the signs; in summer, green shades surround the signboards; in autumn, fallen petals spread around; in winter, pure snow sets off the shape of the signs. As the seasons change, the signs always carry out their functions in a low - key manner, not competing with the scenery but only complementing it.

Watch the clouds on sunny days and listen to the wind in the rain. No matter how chaotic the outside world is, we always hope that in Jinchengxu, everyone can find their love and enjoyment of life: sitting under the corridor by the stream in their spare time, making a cup of tea, chatting with neighbors, and watching the dappled light and shadow as the sunlight filters through the leaves. After all, life is never about rushing. Only by slowing down and savoring it can one understand the comfort of "walking slowly".
